Quality Manager

Responsibilities


  • Reviewing and approving project plans, designs, and specifications to ensure that they comply with quality requirements and best practices
  • Coordinating and supervising quality inspections and tests on materials, equipment, and workmanship at various stages of construction
  • Identifying and resolving quality issues and non-conformities, and implementing corrective and preventive actions
  • Preparing and maintaining quality documentation and records, such as quality plans, inspection reports, test results, and certificates
  • Monitoring compliance with technical execution procedures for works
  • Preparation of all documents necessary for the elaboration of the construction book
  • Communicating and collaborating with project managers, engineers, architects, contractors, suppliers, and clients on quality matters
  • Conducting quality audits and reviews to evaluate the effectiveness and performance of quality management systems and processes
  • Providing quality training and guidance to project staff and subcontractors
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, codes, and standards related to construction quality

Requirements

  • Diploma of Engineer of a Faculty / University in the field of road and/or bridge construction or similar.
  • CV and supporting documents attesting the minimum professional experience in execution of transport infrastructure works (road, railway, subway)
  • A certification from a recognized organization, such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO 9001/45001).
  • At least five years of experience in construction quality management or a related field
  • Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in using computer software, such as Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques
