Responsibilities
- Measuring and valuing the work done on site day-to-day,
- Following lean procedure linking the quantities with look ahead plans,
- Monitoring production on site including subcontractors, construction progress and material needs, including any changes which may impact execution,
- Calculating production rates for executed quantities to create an estimated achievable project timeframe,
- Preparing reports daily with graphs detailing production on site and progress for Lean Manager,
- Making projections with lean principles to optimize resource allocation and reduce non-value-added activities.
- Collaborate with project teams to assess cost-saving opportunities through value engineering without compromising project quality or scope,
- Establish and track productivity, cost savings, and project timelines, ensuring alignment with Lean goals.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with exposure to Lean construction practices.
- Certifications: Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Construction methods is an advantage.
